I believe that music is the universal language that every human has the ability to speak. Making music to me is a not only my joy and my job, but my calling and vocation.
I believe that the music I program, perform, and advocate for are catalysts for a fairer, equitable, and better future for our world & humanity.
I believe that it is my duty as a musician to promote, educate, and advocate for the next generation of artists as strongly as I believe it is also my duty to combat and right any historical injustices that I become aware of.
I believe the core job of a conductor is to be a virtuosic communicator, a community builder, and a life-long learner.
